MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS
ERIC WAN
President, Co-Founder, and Instructor
Eric is a Senior at Homestead High School who has been in competitive math since 6th grade. In 8th grade, he placed 9th out of 128 in the Mathcounts State competition. He has qualified for the AIME, a high level math competition, twice now. Eric's passion for problem solving lead him to create Math Art Online along with Giana and Jonathan Lim. The next generation of problem solvers is up to this generation to raise.

Besides mathematics, Eric also enjoys playing the violin, running, and coding. Math has helped him with his coding as a large portion of coding involves complex logic in which mathematical problem solving plays a key role.
KEVIN WAN
Instructor
Enrolled in math classes 3 years above grade level, Kevin qualified for the MATHCOUNTS State Competition in 6th grade and for the National Competition in 7th grade. He also qualified for the AIME this year, an honor reserved for the top AMC 10 scorers. Consistently showing his brilliance, he placed at the Gamma level in the 2018 Marquette Fall Math Meet and came back the following year to take 1st place. Earlier this year, Kevin scored a 327 on the MAP Math Test.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing piano, playing chess, and running. He is interested in a variety of STEM related and non-STEM related fields, but problem solving has helped him everywhere.
JONATHAN LIM
Co-founder and Past-Instructor
Jonathan Lim is a sophomore at Homestead High School that has competed in events such as MATHCOUNTS State and the MUHS Math Meet. He has placed both on individual and team levels. Jonathan is also in the Varsity Math Team and attends local lectures, striving to learn as much as possible.

GIANA LIM
Co-founder and Past Instructor
Giana is a brilliant mathematician now enrolled in the University of Florida. She has completed some of the most difficult math classes high school offers such as AP Calculus BC and multivariable calculus. She hopes to utilize her skills in engineering in the future.
